Starting out on the saxophone, Battista's first influences were Latin, Italian and Jazz standards. He then went on to experience various genres of music. Rock, Pop, Funk/R&B and contemporary Jazz; while adding guitar and vocals to his musical expertise. His creative talents naturally led him to the next phase, which was composing, recording and producing original artists. As an artist himself, he longed to do something fresh and different. Hence, releasing his first solo project entitled "Pasion".

Independently, Battista had much success selling thousands of CD's playing live in various venues, including Virgin Mega Store in Caesar's Forum, Las Vegas as the number one best seller "in store performer" outselling Andre' Bocelli.

Following the release of his first CD entitled - "Pasion", which was more vocally oriented. Battista was compelled to answer the demands of his fans requesting an all guitar-version; he then delivered "Pasion Instrumental".

Seeking a deeper level of authenticity, musically and personally, Battista's third CD entitled "Fuego" was birthed. "Fuego" - cuts to the chase. The raw emotional energy of this CD vibrates truth to the heart, which can't help but awaken the soul, at the same time deliver true musical virtuosity while creating a club atmosphere that gets you "on your feet dancing"!
