FOIL is a Southern California heavy rock band like no other
and have tapped into a unique hybrid of sound being heralded
by all that hear it. They have created a fascinating forge
of very unique sounding drum and bass lines; heavy guitar
riffs and thought provoking lyrics add to their multidimensional
qualities as a band. Each member draws from their own pool
of stylistic influences, tapping into metal, funk, rock, and
punk. FOIL'S lead vocalist, Mack, offers a wide vocal range
that gives the band its distinctive appeal. Mack's lyrics
provide a perspective into his reality while adding to the
bands vision and melodic direction. I-ball's guitar furnishes
the sound arsenal needed for the bands aggressive style; his
catchy riffs are the center of FOIL'S structure. Adolf and
Bob are the backbone of the band. This rhythm section lays
the foundation for the band's tonal attack. Bob's bass grooves
are unmistakably tasteful and driven, while Adolf pounds the
beats that fuel the energy that is FOIL.
The Style of music is Rock/Metal; Extreme-Alternative
FOIL was formed in 2002. Their musical synergy is the culmination
of years of experience. The San Diego based rockers include
lead vocalist Mack, guitarist I-ball, bassist Bob, and drummer
Adolf. I-ball and Adolf have played in numerous outfits together
since 1997, their undying commitment to each other's music
throughout the years have laid the ground work for FOIL and
its tasty style of music. Bob was brought on board in 2001;
his technically wicked bass style takes no prisoners.. .you
better fasten your seat belt. This trio share, an unmistakable
musical connection that must be experienced by all. The final
piece of the puzzle came along when Mack joined in early 2002..
.and finally, the band was bom. FOIL'S collaborative efforts
have been in effect for only a short time, but are already
impressing crowds with their solid live performances, making
